Pakistan squad named for British Jr. squash

ISLAMABAD: A seven-member Pakistan squad will leave here for Sheffield (UK) on Tuesday to take part in the British Junior Squash Championship. A spokesman of Pakistan Squash Federation said six boys and a girl will represent Pakistan in the prestigious championship being held in the first week of January. Two boys each will contest in the categories of Undr-15, Under-17 and Under-19 while the lone girl Maria Toor Pakay will figure in the Under-19 girls event of the championship which has attracted 500 categories of boys and girls from around the world. The PSF has selected the following the players for the championship: Syed Ali Bokhari and Bilal Zakir (Under15), Danish Atlas and Nasir Iqbal (Under17), Shoaib Hassan and Waqar Mehboob (Under19) and Ms Maria Toor (Girls U-19).
